We have been in negotiations with the owners of our corporate HQ building in Burnaby, and we are excited to announce that our office space is getting a major upgrade!  Our new office space is about double of what we originally planned, which will give us plenty of room to expand in the immediate future.  We also are getting a new lab!  This will allow us to test and characterize our biomass products, and to conduct critical research and development.

The future is looking bright for Diacarbon!

Jared currently works for the Carl Wieman Science Education Initiative at the University of British Columbia where he studies learning in science. Surprisingly the job involves as much about management, negotiation, and psychology as it does about science (it can be a tough job to convince others to try novel ways of teaching). Before that he worked as a research scientist at Ballard Power Systems until returning to university to complete his PhD in Chemistry.
